The Tennessee Titans have come to an obvious conclusion regarding cornerback Caleb Farley.
The #Titans plan to decline the fifth-year option on cornerback Caleb Farley, per source. This was expected after Farley played 12 games (two starts) since 2021.

Seemingly, the young defensive back's rookie contract will be his last with Tennessee - at least, for now.
Farley's lack of availability has been the biggest issue in his NFL career. His injury history was his biggest red flag entering the draft, too. The previous regime in Tennessee looked past that and took him with a first-rounder, and now, the new group is dealing with the tough contract decision following that selection.
The CB has totaled just 14 tackles and one pass deflection in his NFL career so far. After adding L'Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie this offseason at cornerback, Farley has become even more expendable in the long-term.
This decision by Ran Carthon and co. should not raise any eyebrows.
