Jacob Monk Could Be A Day 1 Starter For the Packers

Standing at 6-3, 308 pounds, Monk embodies the ideal interior physique. As a two-year team captain at Duke, he showcased versatility across all three offensive line positions and earned a Relative Athletic Score of 9.74 as a center. In essence, he epitomizes a quintessential Packers selection.

In 2023, Monk recorded 343 pass-blocking snaps, allowing only one sack. He demonstrates excellent footwork and aggressiveness, especially in the running game. I had no issue with Green Bay moving up for him. Monk was ESPN’s top-rated center available when the Packers selected him.

Monk’s likely role in Green Bay is within the interior line. Uncertainty looms over the center position: will Zach Tom transition inside?
